KMXB Announces 'Bite Of Las Vegas' And 'Band Battle For Bite'

CBS RADIO Hot AC KMXB (MIX 94.1)/LAS VEGAS presents their third annual "MIX 94.1 BAND BATTLE FOR BITE" at 6p on WEDNESDAY (9/15) at the HOUSE OF BLUES at MANDALAY BAY hosted by on-air personality DREA.

The competition will give local bands the opportunity to perform on the local stage at MIX 94.1's 14th annual "BITE OF LAS VEGAS" food and music festival at DESERT BREEZE PARK on SATURDAY (10/23) in front of 20,000 locals.

MIX 94.1's "BITE OF LAS VEGAS" is NEVEDA’s largest food and music festival featuring more than 45 local restaurants on-site. Judges from the INTERNATIONAL CULINARY SCHOOL AT THE ART INSTITUTE OF LAS VEGAS will select LAS VEGAS' "BEST BITE" in nine different food categories.

This year's musical line-up includes performances by SWITCHFOOT, SARA BAREILLES, PLAIN WHITE T's, plus a special appearance from iCARLEY's MIRANDA COSGROVE.

The eight bands selected for the competition are THE LETTER YOU, VERONICA MCCLUSKEY, RED WINE REWIND, PARADE OF LIGHTS, PLAY FOR KEEPS, AWAY WE GO, MODERN SCIENCE and SPADONI.
