RED ZEBRA BROADCASTING turns rumors to reality with the annoucement that it will flip its Talk WTNT-A (FREEDOM 570)/WASHINGTON to Sports using ESPN RADIO on MONDAY (9/20). The station will serve as a complementary outlet for ESPN programming alongside the company's flagship Sports WTEM-A (ESPN 980).
The new SPORTSTALK 570, POWERED BY ESPN will air the new national SPORTING NEWS RADIO morning show hosted by WTEM's STEVE CZABAN in mornings and will clear ESPN RADIO's COLIN COWHERD, SCOTT VAN PELT, DOUG GOTTLIEB, and BRIAN KENNY on weekdays.
RED ZEBRA EVP RICK CARMEAN said, "This further enhances RED ZEBRA's image as the area's leading sports radio company."
Director of Programming CHUCK SAPIENZA added, "We are very excited to offer listeners the STEVE CZABAN morning show and continue our relationship with the strongest brand in sports, ESPN."
The flip was tipped first last week by DCRTV.COM.
