Two WLS-A Shows May Get TV Simulcast

NBC O&O WMAQ-TV (NBC 5)/CHICAGO's new digital multicast subchannel "CHICAGO NONSTOP" may include simulcasts of two CITADEL Talk WLS-A/CHICAGO shows, reports VOCALO.ORG's ROBERT FEDER.

The new channel would simulcast DON WADE AND ROMA's morning show and ROE CONN and RICHARD ROEPER's afternoon show if details can be worked out, according to FEDER. The target date for the simulcast launch is OCTOBER 25th.

NBC is planning similar channels in some of its other O&O markets. The channels are available over-the-air and, subject to carriage deals, on cable.
