WPW BROADCASTING, INC. has been fined $10,000 by the FCC for public file violations at Talk WLBK-A/DEKALB, IL. Issues/programs lists were missing from the station's fiels for 2000-2004.
THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI was also fined $3,500 by the FCC for a late license renewal application for noncommercial WUSM/HATTIESBURG, MS.
The Commission also canceled three other fines, one on DONALD H. DE ROSA for $7,000 for a late license renewal for RADIO DISNEY affiliate WAMF-A/FULTON, NY, because DE ROSA had since passed away; a $7,000 late license renewal fine on CENTRAL GEORGIA BROADCASTING COMPANY (Adult Standards WYTH-A/MADISON, GA), for inability to pay; and a $1,500 fine on TWIN CITY BAPTIST TEMPLE, INC. for a late license renewal application at Religion WCMX-A (HOPE 1000)/LEOMINSTER, MA, because the station did file on time, albeit on paper rather than electronically.
