Wes Poe Steps Up To PD Duties At WDAF

ENTERCOM Country WDAF/KANSAS CITY’s WES POE had been promoted to PD. POE steps up after the recent exit of DAN PERSIGEHL, who had been named OM of the CLEAR CHANNEL/ATLANTA cluster (NET NEWS 9/20). POE has been the APD/MD/Midday host at WDAF since JANUARY 2009.

Prior to coming to WDAF, POE was the PD of CLEAR CHANNEL Country KTOM/MONTEREY. Before that, he handled the APD/MD duties at LINCOLN FINANCIAL MEDIA Country KSON/SAN DIEGO.

POE said: “I was thrilled to come home to KC a year-and-a-half ago when I was hired to be the Assistant Program Director/Music Director for The WOLF. Now I am very excited to have the opportunity to program a legendary station, it’s like having your cake and eating it too.”
