CITADEL Talk KABC-A/LOS ANGELES is filling the slot left vacant by the cancellation of the "FROSTY, HEIDI AND FRANK" show with LARRY ELDER, returning to the station after almost two years away. The announcement was made on SEAN HANNITY's syndicated show WEDNESDAY afternoon.
"The final piece of the puzzle putting KABC back to a position of dominance in the LOS ANGELES TalkRadio arena is in place," President/GM BOB MOORE said in a press release. "LARRY ELDER is a consummate Professional and a truly gifted Broadcaster. KABC and LARRY ELDER will once again allow LOS ANGELES to have a local voice in the 9AM-12Noon time period."
"Having LARRY rejoin our station is the first step in returning KABC to the market dominance it has enjoyed," said PD JACK SILVER. "LARRY will benefit from having PETER TILDEN with TERESA STRASSER on before him, and SEAN HANNITY and MARK LEVIN following his show. That's an amazing daytime lineup."
ELDER, who will rejoin the station's lineup MONDAY (9/27), left KABC in DECEMBER 2008 after 15 years with the station.
