UNIVISION INTERACTIVE MEDIA is expanding its existing partnership with the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE with the launch of a new official Spanish-language website for the NFL at www.NFL.com/espanol. The new site, which will include live radio broadcasts as well as statistics, news, interviews, and Fantasy Football, replaces NFLatino.com and individual international sites for other countries. A "Tu Passion" section will offer a place for fans to post videos and photos expressing their passion for their favorite teams, with a contest running through NOVEMBER 14th offering a grand prize of a trip to SUPER BOWL XLV in ARLINGTON, TX.
"We are a leading interactive destination for exclusive, comprehensive sports coverage, and providing this new NFL experience to Latino fans worldwide extends UNIVISION's already strong position in the market," said UNIVISION INTERACTIVE MEDIA President KEVIN CONROY. "We're working very closely with the NFL to deliver a great experience for our users, while also making it possible for leading advertisers to reach our valuable audience with targeted football content and relevant sports brand messaging that connects them with Hispanic sports fans more than ever before."
"We are pleased to expand our partnership with UNIVISION to bring all of our Spanish-speaking fans around the world the best content available," said NFL SVP/Digital Media and Media Strategy BRIAN ROLAPP. "With AMERICA's most popular sports league and the country's leading Spanish-language online publisher, fans can look forward to an even more in-depth and interactive experience."
