Midwest Family Broadcasting Launches KOMG Bob FM Today

MIDWEST FAMILY BROADCASTING has made major changes with its SPRINGFIELD, MO cluster. Classic Country KOMG (BASS COUNTRY), which was on 92.9, has been phased out as of SEPTEMBER 13th. BASS COUNTRY staffers RICK AND REDNECK of the morning show and personality CHARLIE MASON have exited. 

On SEPTEMBER 13th, the stations began simulcasting with Hot AC KOSP/SPRINGFIELD, MO for two weeks, but relaunched today (9/27) as Country KOMG/BOB FM on 105.1. KOSP remains on 92.9, with its new TOM AND LIZ IN THE MORNING show.

BOB FM is currently running jockless, with staff announcements to be made at a later date. CHRIS CANNON, who was previously on KOSP’s former CHRIS AND SUMMER morning show, has taken PD duties for KOMG.
