Darryl Worley's Tennessee River Run Raises Over $200K

STROUDAVARIOUS artist DARRYL WORLEY’s “9th Annual TENNESSEE RIVER RUN,” held from SEPTEMBER 16th-18th, ended up raising over $200,000. Proceeds from the event support the DARRYL WORLEY FOUNDATION, which supports many causes, including the brand new DARRYL WORLEY CANCER CENTER in SAVANNAH, TN.
Country artists that participated this year included DARRYL WORLEY, LEE BRICE, JOE DIFFIE and DANNY GOKEY, who played to the over 10,000 fans who attended the various concerts and events.
"This may have been the best year we've ever had," said WORLEY. "I thank GOD for this awesome opportunity to help people who have nowhere else to turn and I'm truly honored and humbled by these responsibilities. Thanks to everyone for all their hard work to make this another amazing event.”
The TENNESSEE RIVER RUN was organized in 2001 to raise money for the DARRYL WORLEY FOUNDATION,. Since its inception, the foundation has distributed more than a million dollars to thousands of people in need, as well as numerous local and national charities
