CUMULUS Top 40 WTWR (TOWER 98.3)/TOLEDO sent staffers GAY JERRY and JACKIE over to the crosstown CLEAR CHANNEL cluster - where TOWER 98.3 morning host JOHNNY D. was formerly employed - to celebrate JOHNNY'S recent ratings success. A couple of CLEAR CHANNEL employees allegedly came out and moved their vans into place to block in TOWER 98.3's van, and a stand-off ensued, attracting attention from listeners, CLEAR CHANNEL employees, bystanders, and the TOLEDO Police. TOWER 98.3 PD BRENT CAREY tells ALL ACCESS that a peaceful resolution was eventually negotiated, and no injuries were reported.
