Another Busy Day At The 2010 Radio Show

It was a busy day YESTERDAY (9/29) as THE RADIO ADVERTISING BUREAU and NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS joined forces to offer this year's RADIO SHOW, being held in WASHINGTON, D.C. at the GRAND HYATT WASHINGTON hotel.

CUMULUS' LEW DICKEY, NRG MEDIA's MARY QUASS, ENTERCOM's DAVID FIELD and CHERRY CREEK's JOE SCHWARTZ wrapped up WEDNESDAY's sessions at the NAB/RAB RADIO SHOW by discussing the state of the industry at the annual DICKSTEIN SHAPIRO financial seminar. (NET NEWS 9/29).

DICKSTEIN SHAPIRO's annual financial session at the NAB RADIO SHOW in WASHINGTON kicked off (NET NEWS 9/29) with a panel of investment firm partners discussing the state of radio's financial performance, led by the painting of a very dark picture for the industry by WELLS FARGO SECURITIES Dir./Equity Research MARCY RYVICKER. 

The heads of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS and RADIO ADVERTISING BUREAU greeted attendees at the joint NAB-RAB RADIO SHOW with a dose of positive thinking about the medium's future and a focus on getting FM tuners in cell phones. (NET NEWS 9/29).

Outgoing Sen. BOB BENNETT (R-UT) opened the NAB/RAB RADIO SHOW with his perspective on issues affecting radio in Congress this year, telling the audience that he does not expect action on performance royalties in this Congress. (NET NEWS 9/29).
