Former WNSI-A/F (now WBZR)/ATMORE, AL owner WALTER JOHN BOWEN has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually abusing a child under 12. The 68-year-old was accused of fondling a girl.
Circuit Judge CHARLES C. PARTIN sentenced BOWEN, of Robertsdale, AL, based on a plea agreement, reports WAAY-TV.
Once released, BOWEN will have to register as a sex offender.
