KYKX Adds John Willyard, Gary P. 'Blue Eyes' Walker

ACCESS 1 COMMUNICATIONS Country KYKX/TYLER-LONGVIEW, TX welcomes voice-over talent JOHN WILLYARD as the new voice of the station. KYKX is celebrating their heritage as the first FM station in that market over 30 years ago by adopting the new positioning statement, “The EAST TEXAS Original.”

In addition, EAST TEXAS veteran air personality GARY P. “BLUE EYES” WALKER has returned to KYKX for part-time/swing duties, as well as voice-tracking the "90s At Nine" feature. GARY worked for KYKX from 1985-1996 and at crosstown TOWNSQUARE MEDIA Country KNUE, from 1996-2009. He also currently does afternoons at ACCESS 1 sister AC KOOI.
