Dailey & Vincent The Big Winners At 21st Annual IBMA Awards

ROUNDER RECORDS duo DAILEY & VINCENT claimed their third consecutive “Entertainer Of The Year” title at the 21st Annual INTERNATIONAL BLUEGRASS MUSIC AWARDS (IMBA), held last night (9/30) at the RYMAN AUDITORIUM in NASHVILLE. They join nine-time “Entertainers Of The Year” winners THE DEL McCOURY BAND as the only artists to bring home more than 2 “EOTY” trophies at the IBMAs.

DAILEY & VINCENT were also named “Vocal Group Of The Year” for the third consecutive year, and they received their second “Album Of The Year” award for “DAILEY & VINCENT Sing The STATLER BROTHERS” on CRACKER BARREL/ROUNDER RECORDS, released exclusively at CRACKER BARREL stores in FEBRUARY. The album also earned the award for “Best Graphic Design For A Recorded Project,” which was presented to CRACKER BARREL Marketing Manager JULIE CRAIG at a special awards luncheon earlier in the day.

In addition, DAILEY & VINCENT received IBMA trophies for their participation in the “Recorded Event Of The Year,” which was “Give This Message To Your Heart” on LARRY STEPHENSON’s “20th Anniversary” CD. Other IBMA winners included RUSSELL MOORE and CLAIRE LYNCH for “Male Vocalist” and “Female Vocalist of the Year,” respectively.
