McNabb Fans, Foes Square Off In 97.5 The Fanatic's Tug-Of-War

GREATER MEDIA Sports WPEN-F (97.5 THE FANATIC)/PHILADELPHIA is having DONOVAN MCNABB's fans and detractors face off in a Tug-of-War TODAY (10/1), in advance of MCNABB's return to LINCOLN FINANCIAL FIELD as a WASHINGTON REDSKIN SUNDAY (10/3).

The Tug-of-War -- over a pool filled with CAMPBELL'S Chunky Soup, a nod to MCNABB's former endorsement deal -- will be held at 5p (ET) on MIKE MISSANELLI's afternoon show, which will air live from TONY LUKE'S, the popular cheesesteak purveyor in SOUTH PHILADELPHIA.  On the anti-MCNABB side is a ringer, boxer BERNARD "THE EXECUTIONER" HOPKINS, who has been a vocal MCNABB detractor for years.

"DONOVAN MCNABB continues to be a polarizing figure in PHILADELPHIA sports history," said MISSANELLI. "What better way than a Tug-of-War to demonstrate the EAGLES fans' passion."
