WMXD Announces 'Sista Strut' Cancer Benefit

CLEAR CHANNEL Urban AC WMXD (MIX 92.3 FM)/DETROIT will host the STATE FARM INSURANCE 12th annual "WALK/RUN FOR BREAST CANCER, SISTA STRUT."

The event will take place at 8:30a on SATURDAY (10/2) the DETROIT RIVER WALK at RIVER PLAZA downtown.

MIX 92.3 FM will also hold "FRANKIE's CIRCLE OF HOPE" which will acknowledge an individual’s fight against breast cancer. Participants are encouraged to speak about their experience or honor a loved one. Proceeds from the event will benefit KARMANOS CANCER INSTITUTE.
