Condolences to family and friends of former CLEVELAND radio personality, voiceover specialist and salesman STAN GEE, who died SEPTEMBER 23rd in TAMPA at 92, according to the CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER.
GEE hosted overnights at WFMJ-A/YOUNGSTOWN before moving to CLEVELAND to call CLEVELAND BARONS football in the team's 1946 inaugural season in the ALL AMERICA FOOTBALL CONFERENCE and CLEVELAND BARONS minor league hockey at WGAR-A/CLEVELAND. He later worked on the sales side and voiced commercials, and worked at DOWD MERCEDES-BENZ.
Among GEE's survivors is his son MICHAEL STANLEY, musician and CBS RADIO Classic Rock WNCX/CLEVELAND afternoon host.
