Freeman Resigns From Board
An SEC filing on MONDAY makes ALDEN GLOBAL CAPITAL's HEATH FREEMAN's resignation from the board of EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS official. FREEMAN submitted a resignation letter on MAY 25th and the resignation became effective with the official termination of ALDEN MEDIA HOLDINGS' participation in JEFF SMULYAN's attempted buyout of the company on SEPTEMBER 27th.
SMULYAN's JS ACQUISITION, LLC is suing ALDEN over the latter's pullout from the buyout deal.
