NASHVILLE’s SCHERMERHORN SYMPHONY CENTER will reopen to the public on DECEMBER 31st with a concert from violinist ITZHAK PERLMAN and the NASHVILLE SYMPHONY. This is the venue’s first show since the NASHVILLE flood back in MAY, which caused $40 million worth of damage after its lower levels were filled with 24 feet of water.
According to an article in THE TENNESSEAN, the federal government paid for most of the repairs, although about $3 million dollars still remains.
