WLW Cuts Off Fingers

CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WLW-A/CINCINNATI listeners were told THURSDAY afternoon that EDDIE FINGERS, afternoon co-host with TRACY JONES since 2008, has exited the station. PD DARRYL PARKS and JONES hosted the 3-6p show yesterday and said that JONES would be continuing on the show and PARKS would be filling in until a permanent co-host is found.

The CINCINNATI ENQUIRER's JOHN KIESEWETTER reports that his sources say FINGERS was fired after negotiations on a new contract "blew up" THURSDAY, with the firing ordered by the corporate office.
