As NORTH TEXAS PUBLIC BROADCASTING Triple A KKXT/DALLAS is getting ready to celebrate its first-year anniversary (early NOVEMBER), the station is adjusting some of its programming schedule to allow for more locally generated programming.
To accommodate this they have decided to drop the following syndicated shows: "Mountain Stage," "Sound Opinion," "Putamayo World Music Hour" and "Thistle & Shamrock." Further, they have moved the "Acoustic Café" to SUNDAY mornings instead of the MONDAY schedule.
In addition, the station will continue airing "American Routes" and "The Paul Slavens Show" on SUNDAY evening. They continue to air "World Café" WEEKDAYS, as well.
