Canton Names Street For EWTN Founder Mother Angelica

CANTON, OHIO recently honored hometown native and ETERNAL WORD TELEVISION NETWORK (EWTN) GLOBAL CATHOLIC NETWORK Founder MOTHER ANGELICA by naming a street after her. City officials designated a section of MARKET AVENUE as the "MOTHER ANGELICA MEMORIAL CORRIDOR."
The section of road falls between 30TH STREET NW and 44TH STREET NW.
A ceremony was held on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9th at the CANTON CIVIC CENTER and the presentation was made to EWTN Pres./CEO MICHAEL P. WARSAW on MOTHER ANGELICA's behalf. The ceremony was witnessed by close to 3,000 people who were in attendance for EWTN's 2010 FAMILY CELEBRATION. The event will be televised on EWTN on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16th at 6o (ET) and OCTOBER 23rd at 2p (ET).
