Lady Antebellum Tie With Eminem For Five AMA Nominations

CAPITOL/NASHVILLE trio LADY ANTEBELLUM tied with rapper EMINEM leading with five nominations for the AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS, which were announced YESTERDAY (10/12) in LOS ANGELES. JUSTIN BIEBER was the second most-nominated artist with four nods, followed by B.O.B., KATY PERRY, KE$HA and USHER collecting three nominations each.

CARRIE UNDERWOOD/ Play OnThe awards will be handed out NOVEMBER 21st at 8p (ET) on ABC-TV. Winners will be determined by online voting by fans at www.amavote.com, as well as at ama.abc.com. LADY A is also among the first-round nominees for the T-MOBILE Breakthrough Artist Award (which was won by EMBLEM/WARNER BROS. group GLORIANA last year), and fans can cast their votes for that award via T-MOBILE text messaging or at ama.abc.com.
For the first round of voting beginning now through FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22nd fans will be able to determine who will make up the final award nominees from the list of artists available at http://ama.abc.com. The top four artists with the highest votes from the first round of voting will be the final award nominees of the T-MOBILE Breakthrough Artist Award. Voting for the award winner will begin OCTOBER 25th and conclude during the AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS on NOVEMBER 21st.
