The CLEAR CHANNEL cluster in SYRACUSE was briefly knocked off the air TUESDAY morning when a burst pipe in the HVAC system flooded the newsroom and affected the studios' electrical system at about 9a (ET).
The SYRACUSE POST-STANDARD reports that the four FM stations in the cluster, Country WBBS (B104.7), Urban AC WPHR (POWER 106.9), Top 40/Rhythmic WWHT (HOT 107.9), and AC WYYY (Y94), returned to the air quickly, but Sports WHEN-A was off for about 20-25 minutes and Talk WSYR-A was off for about 45 minute.
