The CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING has elected board member CHERYL HALPERN to a one-year term as Chairman, replacing the controversial KENNETH TOMLINSON. HALPERN is a NEW JERSEY Republican and a former member of the BROADCASTING BOARD OF GOVERNORS.
