At midnight tonight (4/6), NASSAU BROADCASTING PARTNERS will pull the plug on Financial Talk WHWH-A (MONEYTALK 1350)/PRINCETON, NJ. NASSAU was granted a license for an expanded band station on 1680 AM years ago, and must silence WHWH as part of the deal.
The WHWH calls stand for HERBERT W. HOBLER, the station's original owner, who signed it on in 1963. WHWH was a dominant force in CENTRAL NEW JERSEY for many years, and home to an impressive list of air talent and newspeople. For a peek at WHWH history, click here.
