WMIL Recreates Lady A's 'Worst Gig Ever'

CLEAR CHANNEL Country WMIL/MILWAUKEE morning personality KAREN DALESSANDRO tells ALL ACCESS about a great promotion that the station is doing with CAPITOL RECORDS group LADY ANTEBELLUM.

In the FEBRUARY 19th, 2010 issue of ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY, the group shared their “Worst Gig Ever.” It happened in MILWAUKEE at a gas station a few years ago. CHARLES KELLEY of the group remembers it fondly: “It was at the butt crack of dawn to kick off hunting season. Everybody was sitting there eating. They didn’t know who the hell we were. It was funny as s---“.

To celebrate the success of the band, WMIL has arranged for a return engagement. On THURSDAY, OCTOBER 21st, LADY A will do a special repeat of “The Worst Gig Ever,” at the MAYFIELD MOBIL gas station in RICHFIELD, WI from 12-1p (CT). The group will do two to three songs, take questions from the audience and the public is welcome to attend with no admission.

Later that night there will be an admission required when the band plays a sold-out show, along with special guest, MCA artist DAVID NAIL, at the RIVERSIDE THEATRE in MILWAUKEE.
