NEW NORTHWEST BROADCASTERS (NNB) has made some moves as VP/Programming TOM OAKES announces the following changes and promotions. Country-Rock KXLW (96.3 The WOLF)/ANCHORAGE welcomes DEREK MORAN for APD/morning duties. In addition to KXLW, MORAN will also act as APD for ‘sister’ stations Hot AC KDBZ and Adult Hits KBBO. Previously MORAN worked at several stations in MINNEAPOLIS and DULUTH, MN. He starts at NEW NORTHWEST BROADCASTERS on NOVEMBER 1st.
Concurrently, NNB’s Country KIOK/TRI CITIES PD KRIS EDWARDS is promoted to OM of NNB’s ASTORIA, OREGON stations and will oversee Country KVAS, Classic Rock KCRX, News/Talk KAST-A, Sports KKEE-A, HOT AC KLMY. KRIS has been with NNB/TRI CITIES for over a year. Previously he held programming posts in BOISE, BILLINGS, MT and SPOKANE, WA.
