The RADIO AND TELEVISION NEWS DIRECTORS ASSOCIATION of NORTHERN CALIFORNIA will honor KGO-A/SAN FRANCISCO vet ROSIE ALLEN with a Lifetime Achievement Award at their 29th annual event on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6th in SAN FRANCISCO.

Just last year, ROSIE celebrated 40 years in the broadcasting business. She started in 1969 at KNEW/Oakland before excelling at stations such as KNBR, KSFX-and KGO-A, where she still works as a fill-in talk show host..

"Time flies when you are doing a job that you absolutely love," she said. "My years in the broadcast industry have enriched my life. The friends, the people I have met, the opportunities, the travel, the energy, the adrenaline rush, and now a Lifetime Achievement Award -- who could ask for anything more?"
