Thom Hartmann Launches TV Show

DIAL GLOBAL syndicated talk host THOM HARTMANN is launching a new weekday TV show on the English-language Russian cable news channel RT.  "THE BIG PICTURE WITH THOM HARTMANN" will air weekdays at 9p and 11p (ET) from RT's WASHINGTON studios.

"We are excited to be in the Nation's capital, the epicenter of political process at such a critical time," said HARTMANN. "The next two years in our election cycle will be the new dancing with the stars ... and we plan to bring our audience in-depth coverage on the issues effecting us all."

RT editor-in-chief MARGARITA SIMONYAN added,  "We show our viewers news they cannot see elsewhere. And now, together with THOM HARTMANN, we will provide them with opinions that will encourage every viewer to question more. We are looking forward to the start of this new project on RT."

The channel is available nationally on VERIZON FiOS cable and on cable systems in NEW YORK, WASHINGTON, CHICAGO, LOS ANGELES, and SAN DIEGO and across CANADA on ROGERS CABLE and SHAW CABLE.
