D'Angelo Critically Injured In Car Wreck

The AP is reporting that R&B singer D'ANGELO, who won a pair of Grammy awards in 2001 for his album "Voodoo," was critically injured in a car wreck outside his hometown of RICHMOND on SEPTEMBER 19. D'ANGELO, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt, was initially listed in critical condition. Officials at VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER, where the D'ANGELO was flown after the wreck, said the family had asked that his condition not be released. Another person, LYNNE SELLERS, also was injured in the wreck. Authorities have not said which of the two was driving.
