KYKX's J.R. Schumann Almost Up To $50K In Donations For Suicide Prevention Walk

ACCESS 1 COMMUNICATIONS Country KYKX/TYLER-LONGVIEW, TX APD/MD/afternooner J.R. SCHUMANN is helping raise money for the AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION’s DALLAS-FORT WORTH “Out Of The Darkness Community Walk” on SATURDAY (10/23). The total amount so far is almost at $50,000, with over 500 participants registered to walk.
He said: “I started the walk about five years ago. I lost my little brother to suicide in OCTOBER of 2003. We've grown exponentially in a short amount of time, and have become the top fundraising walk in the state of TEXAS for AFSP.”
