The man accused of murdering a volunteer host for Ethnic community station AWAZ FM/GLASGOW, SCOTLAND has been convicted and sentenced to life in prison.
KHALID SARWAR, 29, will serve at least 20 years in the killing of NASIM JAMIL, who was found dead in her apartment on DECEMBER 9, 2009. JAMIL, 54, hosted an advice show, "YADOON KA PHOOL," on the station, which serves GLASGOW's Asian community. SARWAR was a friend of JAMIL's son and had denied killing her.
