EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. is selling FM translator W262BN/LORAIN, OH to CLEAR CHANNEL's CITICASTERS LICENSES, INC. for $85,000. The translator, in the western suburbs of CLEVELAND, is listed in the sale application as a proposed rebroadcaster of Country WGAR/CLEVELAND.
In other deals filed with the FCC, WPKN, INC. is selling noncommercial WPKM/MONTAUK, LONG ISLAND, NY to HAMPTONS COMMUNITY RADIO CORPORATION for $60,000. The buyer has been operating WPKM, once a repeater for the seller's WPKN/BRIDGEPORT, CT, and is the permittee of WEER/EAST HAMPTON and WEEW/WESTHAMPTON.
PARTNERSHIP BROADCASTING, INC. is selling Country KATX/EASTLAND, TX to HIGH PLAINS RADIO NETWORK, LLC for $127,000 ($47,000 cash, the rest in a note) plus an LMA before closing.
IGLESIA JESUCRISTO ES MI REFUGIO DE AUSTIN, INC. is selling the construction permit for a new noncommercial FM in DARRINGTON, WA to IGLESIA PENTECOSTAL VISPERIA DEL FIN for $30,000.
And CALVARY CHAPEL OF TWIN FALLS, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for FM translator K212DE/BONNER-MISSOULA, MT, citing the need to repair intermod problems.

NORTHWESTERN MEDIA has closed on the sale of formerly-Contemporary Christian WSMR (LIFE 89.1)/SARASOTA, FL to the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA for $1.275 million. GREG GUY of PATRICK COMMUNICATIONS served as the seller's broker, and PUBLIC RADIO CAPITAL represented USF in the transaction. USF bought WSMR to move Classical programming there and add more News and Talk programming to its WUSF-F/TAMPA.
STUART EPPERSON's TRUTH BROADCASTING CORP. closed on the purchase of Contemporary Christian WBZK-A (PRAISE 980)/YORK, SC and FM translator W289BO/MARION, SC from 980 AM, INC. (SATELLITE RADIO NETWORK) for $400,000. JOHN PIERCE AND CO. served as broker for the deal.
