First Round Of People's Choice Awards Nominees Announced

THE BOOT is reporting that the first round of nominees has been announced for the 2011 PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS, which will air live from LOS ANGELES on JANUARY 5th, 2011 on CBS-TV. 

Nominated in the “Favorite Male Artist” category are JASON ALDEAN, KENNY CHESNEY, TIM McGRAW, KEITH URBAN, EMINEM, KANYE WEST, LUDACRIS, JOHN MAYER and USHER. 

MIRANDA LAMBERT, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, TAYLOR SWIFT, ALICIA KEYS, LADY GAGA, KATY PERRY, CHRISTINA AGUILERA and RIHANNA are in the running for “Favorite Female Artist.” 

The first-round nominees for “Favorite Country Artist” are: JASON ALDEAN, KENNY CHESNEY, KEITH URBAN, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, MIRANDA LAMBERT, TAYLOR SWIFT, BLAKE SHELTON, BRAD PAISLEY, LADY ANTEBELLUM, RASCAL FLATTS, SUGARLAND and the ZAC BROWN BAND.
