EMI Music Publishing Hires Missy Wilson And Laura Wright

EMI MUSIC PUBLISHING had announced two new members of their NASHVILLE staff. MISSY WILSON and LAURA WRIGHT both join the creative team led by EMI MUSIC PUBLISHING NASHVILLE Executive VP/GM BEN VAUGHN.
WILSON and WRIGHT will be tasked with discovering and developing new talent, as well as working with EMI MUSIC PUBLISHING’s songwriter roster including RHETT AKINS, GUY CLARK, DALLAS DAVIDSON, KELLEY LOVELACE, STEVE MCEWAN, TOM SHAPIRO and JEREMY STOVER.
WILSON who will take A&R Director duties, has worked most recently with STAGE 3 PUBLISHING and DISNEY MUSIC PUBLISHING. Native NASHVILLIAN LAURA WRIGHT joins EMI as A&R Manager and comes from THE WRITER’S DEN.
VAUGHN said: “I’m excited to bring both MISSY and LAURA on board, and I know that they will do an incredible job for our songwriters. Their energy is infectious and both are so respected in the songwriting community. I and the rest of our team are looking forward to working with them in continuing to build the best possible publishing company on behalf of the writers we are privileged to represent.”
