Stellar Award Nominations Announced Live On Gospel Music Channel

The nominations for the 26TH ANNUAL STELLAR GOSPEL MUSIC AWARDS were recently announced during a one-hour live telecast on the GOSPEL MUSIC CHANNEL (GMC).  Leading the nominations in the 27 STELLAR AWARD categories is JAMES FORTUNE & FYIA with eight nominations. BEBE & CECE WINANS, FRED HAMMOND and MARVIN SAPP each drew seven nominations. BEBE and CECE WINANS also each received three solo nominations.

The award nominations were announced with a first-ever one-hour live telecast on the GOSPEL MUSIC CHANNEL (GMC) entitled "THE STELLAR AWARDS NOMINATIONS CONCERT AND ANNOUNCEMENTS HOSTED BY DONNIE McCLURKIN."  A special encore telecast is slated to air TONIGHT (10/26) at midnight (ET)/11p (CT).

Included in the awards are Small Market, Medium Market, Large Market and Major Market Radio Stations of the Year for Gospel radio.  Nominations include:

The 26TH ANNUAL STELLAR GOSPEL MUSIC AWARDS will be taped before a live audience on SATURDAY, JANUARY, 15th, 2011 and is scheduled to air in syndication from JANUARY 22nd to MARCH 13th, 2011.  The show will also broadcast on SATURDAY, MARCH 6th at 8p (ET) on GMC.
