WXDJ's Enrico Santos To Run For Mayor Of Miami

SPANISH BROADCASTING SYSTEM Spanish Top 40 WXDJ (EL ZOL 95)/MIAMI's ENRIQUE SANTOS, co-host of the station's morning program, "EL VACILÓN DE LA MAÑANA," has decided to run for the office of the Mayor of MIAMI. Consistent with the rules and regulations of the FCC, SANTOS will not be heard on the station until after the election is concluded. By mutual agreement with SBS, SANTOS has elected to temporarily withdraw from the show in order to pursue his candidacy. Regardless of the outcome, SANTOS will rejoin the morning show immediately following the election.
