Classic Rock WSHP Flips To All-Christmas ... But Won't Return To Rock

ARTISTIC MEDIA PARTNERS Classic Rock WSHP (THE ROCKET)/LAFAYETTE, IN became the second station to go all-Christmas before Halloween. However, when it drops the "North Pole Music" sound on DEC. 26th, it will return in a new format.

That means the long-running syndicated BOB & TOM Show will no longer be heard on the station. "Every three to five years a contract (renewal) comes up and we just decided this was not a time to be broadcasting BOB & TOM," GM ERNIE CALDEMONE told JC ONLINE. 

As for the future format? "Tune in and listen," CALDEMONE said. "We feel we've found a real good niche in the market and we're going to fill it with real good programming."
