KDKA Celebrates 90th Birthday

Happy Anniversary!

CBS RADIO Talk KDKA-A/PITTSBURGH celebrates its 90th anniversary on TUESDAY (11/2) with an open house and special anniversary broadcast in the Great Hall at the Sen. JOHN HEINZ HISTORY CENTER in PITTSBURGH’s Strip District SATURDAY and SUNDAY (10/30-31), followed by a special broadcast on TUESDAY from the museum.

On SATURDAY and SUNDAY, KDKA personalities past and present will sign autographs, while a slide show offers station highlights from 1920 through today.  KDKA's history is included in the museum's “PITTSBURGH: A Tradition of Innovation” exhibit.
 
On TUESDAY, the station will broadcast live from the HISTORY CENTER, with MARTY GRIFFIN, ROBERT MANGINO and ROB PRATTE hosting 9a-noon, and MIKE PINTEK, BILL REHKOPF and PRATTE hosting noon-3p.
