Longtime MILLENIUM Talk WKXW (NEW JERSEY 101.5)/TRENTON morning man JIM GEARHART has been honored by the station with the dedication of its studio building in EWING TOWNSHIP, NJ as the "JIM GEARHART BROADCAST CENTER."
GEARHART was known for his stints at stations like WCBS-A/NEW YORK (where he was the last morning man before the station's flip to All-News), WPOP-A/HARTFORD, KIRO-A/SEATTLE, and KQV-A/PITTSBURGH and a run as the voice of CBS television before landing in TRENTON at WBUD-A. In 1990, consultant WALTER SABO moved GEARHART to WBUD's sister FM station in mornings as part of the new NEW JERSEY 101.5 FM Talk format, and GEARHART has been in the slot ever since, becoming a major media force in state politics.
