Mike Lamb, PD Mark Evans Exit CBS/Sacramento

Changes In Sacramento

CBS RADIO Sports KHTK-A/SACRAMENTO and sister Country KNCI PD MARK EVANS as well as afternoon "SPORTSLINE 1140" co-host MIKE LAMB have exited the station, reports the SACRAMENTO BEE.

SVP/Market Mgr. STEVE COTTINGIM told the BEE's JOE DAVIDSON that the layoff of LAMB "is the best for our station, long term. When making these decisions, we have to think about ratings down the road, and we have to weigh the economic times. I think LAMB did a great job. It's never easy doing this ... We live in a tough situation with the economy. MIKE's very talented, but unfortunately, that's the business."
