Ron Brooks To Program WRUF

Programming veteran RON BROOKS, most recently PD at CLEAR CHANNEL Country WNOE/NEW ORLEANS, has landed at UNIVERSITY of FLORIDA Country WRUF-F (THE GATOR)/GAINESVILLE; he will also program ‘sister’ Sports WRUF-A.

BROOKS, who has also programmed CLEAR CHANNEL’s WCOS/COLUMBIA, tells ALL ACCESS that the station is owned by the university, but will be competitive and commercial. He also tells us that there will be an announcement coming soon about the new GATOR morning show.
