Kashon Powell To Oversee Urbans In Norfolk & Richmond

KASHON POWELL, who is currently APD/MD for CLEAR CHANNEL PHILADELPHIA Urban/Urban AC combo Urban WUSL and Urban AC WDAS, has been tapped to oversee CLEAR CHANNEL’s Urban stations in RICHMOND and NORFOLK.  As the VIRGINIA Dir/Urban Programming, she will oversee programming in NORFOLK for Urban WOWI and Urban AC WKUS/WKSA. 

At Urban WBTJ/RICHMOND, MIKE STREET has been named PD replacing AARON MAXWELL and will continue to do his PM-drive shift. He will report to KASHON. 

Prior to coming to PHILLY, KASHON POWELL was APD/MD at RADIO ONE Top 40/Rhythmic KBXX in HOUSTON. She is expected to begin her new duties MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15th, based in NORFOLK.
