Here is a recap of some select PPM market highlights from OCTOBER 2010, compiled by dmr for ALLACCESS and powered by XTrends, radio's #1 PPM and diary analysis tool.
San Francisco October 2010: Giant Gains For Giants Radio
OCTOBER was good to the SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS, their fans, and their flagship CUMULUS Sports KNBR boosting it from #6t to #2t (with ENTERCOM AC KOIT) P6+ with 5.3, behind #1 CBS RADIO News KCBS-A with 6.1. KNBR’S share growth was around 50% from SEPTEMBER to OCTOBER in every demo while cume growth was slightly higher.
KOIT was the only music station in the Top 5 P6+ with KQED PUBLIC MEDIA Talk KQED #4 (5.2) and CITADEL Talk KGO-A #5 (4.7).
CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40/Rhythmic KMEL (#1P18-34), CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40/R KYLD (#2) and CBS Top 40 KMVQ (MOVIN 997) (#5), with just over one share separating them, made SAN FRANCISCO’S Top 40 competition keen. KYLD leads the group P18-49, while MOVIN 997 gets the nod P25-54.
