WAMC's Paul Elisha To Serve As Grand Marshal Of Albany Veterans Day Parade

Noncommercial News-Talk WAMC/ALBANY commentator and "POETRY FORUM" co-host PAUL ELISHA will serve as Grand Marshal of the 85th annual VETERANS DAY PARADE in ALBANY, NY this THURSDAY, reports the ALBANY TIMES-UNION.

ELISHA, who turns 88 next month, served in a communications unit in the PACIFIC Theater during WORLD WAR II. He joined WAMC in 1990 after a long career working in several NEW YORK state agencies and as Exec. Dir. of NEW YORK's COMMON CAUSE chapter.
