Cadillac Jack Remains In Big Apple As WWPR PD, Adds OM Clear Channel/New York

Doing an about-face from previously announced plans for CLEAR CHANNEL Urban WWPR (POWER 105)/NEW YORK PD CADILLAC JACK to return to BOSTON as OM of that cluster, (NET NEWS 9/27) CLEAR CHANNEL SVP/Programming TOM POLEMAN has announced that CADILLAC JACK will now stay on in NEW YORK remaining as WWPR's PD and adding OM duties for CLEAR CHANNEL/NEW YORK.

POLEMAN told the staff, "I'm pleased to announce that the recently-posted openings for PD of POWER and OM of CCNY have been filled by a very familiar face. CADILLAC JACK has decided that he has no patience for packing and will instead remain in NEW YORK, taking on both roles.

"CADILLAC is uniquely qualified for this role, having served as OM of the BOSTON cluster for 10 years. We're excited to have him solely focus on the NEW YORK market. And as part of our agreement, he's disavowed all loyalty to the PATRIOTS and is the JETS' new biggest fan."

Commenting on his new post, CADILLAC told ALL ACCESS, "Thanks to JOHN HOGAN, TOM SCHURR, TOM POLEMAN and JOE PUGLISE for giving me this opportunity to lead NEW YORK's programming efforts for CLEAR CHANNEL! Our stations are juggernauts, our team is second to none, and I look forward to continuing to lead the growth of both our terrestrial and digital audiences for the entire cluster. I will always treasure the 20 years I have spent with both the staff and the stations in BOSTON, and I'm excited about writing this next chapter here in NYC!"
