Rapper Proof Of D-12 Killed Outside Detroit-Area Club

Rapper PROOF (real name: DESHAUN HOLTON) of the group D-12 has been killed in a shooting outside of a DETROIT-area nightclub. HOLTON, a long-time friend of fellow rapper EMINEM, was 32. HOLTON was the best man at EMINEM's JANUARY wedding.

It's the second shooting of a member of EMINEM's SHADY RECORDS stable in less than 3-1/2 months. SHADY's OBIE TRICE was shot and wounded on NEW YEAR'S EVE.
