Foley & Thunder Join KILT-F For Morning Drive

New Wakeup Crew

CBS RADIO/HOUSTON VP/Music Programming & Country KILT-F PD MARK ADAMS has announced that COREY FOLEY and GREG THUNDER have been hired as the station’s new morning hosts. The new four-hour show will begin at 5a (CT) on MONDAY (11/15).

FOLEY most recently did mornings at ENTERCOM Country KBWF (THE WOLF)/SAN FRANCISCO, with prior stops at CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 KDWB/MINNEAPOLIS, GILLEN Top 40 WYKS/GAINESVILLE, FL and CBS RADIO Top 40/R WLLD/TAMPA.

THUNDER previously did mornings at HUBBARD BROADCASTING Top 40 KSTP/MINNEAPOLIS and has had stops at CBS Country KMPS/SEATTLE, CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 KDWB/MINNEAPOLIS, ENTERCOM Top 40 KALC/DENVER, EMMIS Urban WQHT/NEW YORK and CITADEL AC WPLJ/NEW YORK.

ADAMS said, “We’re all very excited about the new morning show for KILT. GREG and COREY both possess a wealth of major-market competitive experience and are dedicated professionals. I’m confident they’re going to be a great addition to our station.”

COREY commented, “I’m thrilled to work at such a legendary station and am excited to join CBS RADIO in HOUSTON.”

GREG added, “My wife and I are incredibly excited to call HOUSTON our new home. I am really looking forward to working with COREY. We’re thrilled about the new show and having a lot of fun in the morning on 100.3 KILT.”

This move solidifies the KILT-F weekday lineup with FOLEY and THUNDER from 5-9a, ERIN AUSTIN from 9a-3p and ROWDY YATES from 3-7p (all times CT). Former longtime morning hosts HUDSON & HARRIGAN exited in MARCH (NET NEWS 3/24). After their departure ROWDY, ERIN and co-host COWBOY DAVE had been covering mornings. DAVE will stay in the morning shift as an off-air producer for FOLEY and THUNDER.
