The HOLLYWOOD REPORTER reports that ESPN RADIO host COLIN COWHERD's life is the basis for a situation comedy pilot in development at CBS. The new show would be a multi-camera sitcom with veteran sitcom producers ERIC and KIM TANNENBAUM ("TWO AND A HALF MEN," "NOTES FROM THE UNDERBELLY," "BROTHERS," "SIT DOWN, SHUT UP") as Executive Producers and writers BILL MARTIN and MIKE SCHIFF attached. COWHERD would get producer credit on the project.
CBS tried a sitcom based on the life of ESPN "PARDON THE INTERRUPTION" host TONY KORNHEISER, "LISTEN UP," in the 2004-05 season. The show was canceled after a season.
